OK, SO TRUMP & “Q” PULLED IT OFF…NOW WHAT? 

   Ok, so not really (sorry), Ol’ Joe has been inaugurated behind razor wire, amidst an armed camp, the lefties pulled it off. At the time of this writing, the progressives are not only thinking that they have won the ol’ USA, but they are rubbing their hands (and cackling) about all the suffering they are planning to dish out to Trump (and the 7 million “deplorables” who voted for him). But, oh the rumours! The rumours that swirled around the “Q” paradigm. You know, the cheaters and purveyors of corruption get caught, the magical behind-the-scenes powers enact “the plan”, the plan where evil itself is trounced.  After the bad guys are locked up (or hung), Trump uses four more years to usher in a new era of peace and prosperity, lions lay down with lambs, etc. You can probably tell from my tone that I had a hard time swallowing all the hype. It is not that I can’t believe in good triumphing over evil, it’s just that the QANON idea slots into the category of too-good-to-be-true. After watching the world being ratcheted toward a satanic “progressivism” my entire life, the thought of the pendulum swinging back (without a bloody conflict) seems unlikely.
 
I have to admit, however, that the idea of a Trump-triumphs-over-evil scenario is excellent fodder for examining the collective soul of humanity itself. Donald J.Trump, running for president (while all the elite media snickered and guffawed) , was a huge middle finger to the establishment aristocracy. With Trump becoming the leader (and facing a lying, cheating, totally corrupt opposition) the masks began to slip, and the common people beheld the size and grossness of “the swamp”. Amidst all this the idea of “Q” was born, a vast and secretive power for “GOOD”. This concept is a powerful one. Not only could an outsider like Trump come on the scene and thumb his nose at the “progressive” elite, but, eventually the good guys would bust down the doors and wipe out the power brokers behind the corrupt media and traitorous politicians.

Behind the “Q” conspiracy folklore are even more theories about who the “black hats” are. The bad guys are REALLY BAD. You have the super rich 1%, who manipulate the worlds politics, engage in satanic pedophilia, and are plotting to turn the worlds population into machine controlled, sterilized, automatons; you can’t get much more evil than that eh? Even a socialist style global reset, with a plan to destroy personal freedom, and private property, can’t compete with that.
I know there are some out there that will be angry that I’m (kind of) making fun of all these theories, I understand, but I am doing so to make a point. It’s not that I am really laughing at the concept of supreme evil, or the chance of supreme good; I want everyone to take a minute and ponder all the ramifications. There may be giant swaths of these theories that are true, I cannot say yea or nay, but let us ponder together some deeper ideas.

Most people on this earth just want to be left alone, I truly believe that. It is a minority of people who yearn to control others. Most average folks just want a chance to work, build, create, raise a family; and have a little fun along the way. History, however, shows us that the “people with a plan” will do anything to get on top, so they can have the power to tell others what to do. Many think nothing of shedding blood to get that power; those people are evil. Average people don’t want to be on guard 24/7 against really evil people, so we elect, hire, conscript, ordain, anoint, others to do the job; then we want to get on with our lives, trusting in the hirelings to order and protect our society. This is the history of all human government, and we forget how things can turn out if we trust too much in “the system”. The very machines we build, to give us some peace and safety, can turn into machines of enslavement.
At this point I must bring in the concept of freedom, and deal with it in a quick and dirty way. Freedom can be a bulwark against evil. A free people cannot be bullied or made slaves of. A free people can take precautions against evil, and have the power to change a bad situation; slaves must be beholden, and can only beg to be saved. The price of freedom is responsibility, the “people-with-a-plan” are always asking for your freedom in exchange for peace and safety, that price is too high. You can hire the watchmen on the walls, but it is our responsibility to never stop watching the watchmen.
I think this is why I feel a check in my soul when I hear how great a leader is, or some force of “white hats” that will make everything good again. To me that idea is hard to swallow. The problem isn’t the corrupt media, cheating politicians, or the plotting collectivists; it’s us. When did we allow such things? How did we let those people rule us? We did it when we kept watching and believing in media “experts”, we did it when we let our schools teach utopian socialism, we did it when we voted in the politician with the most goodies (and the least pain). The people got lazy, afraid, and uninformed. Im not trying to point fingers, this is a generational problem, a slow demise. It takes years for evil to grind down a free and vigilant people; but it happens, over and over, throughout history. So what is to be done? Well, first we have to understand the real problem. Time for a gut check.

Is it political? Gotta vote for the right party! No. Is it a lack of education? Maybe partly, the right education maybe. Is it identifying the enemy and destroying them? No, we cannot out-and-out destroy evil, but we must identify it, and never give up fighting it. I like Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn’s quote “The line separating good and evil passes not through states, nor between political parties either-but right through every human heart”. That is where we have to look, in the human heart. May as well look at the head while we’re at it.

Before we get started, let us identify what were talking about when we mention evil. Most folks think about stories of deranged perverts, or morally deprived killers, when evil is mentioned. What about apathy? Is laziness evil? How about personal gain, or selfishness? What about short sighted ambition? These are a little more grey, are they not? Maybe these things are not outwardly evil, but they certainly can leave room for evil to flourish. Plain old cowardice doesn’t appear evil at first glance, but no man wants to look in the mirror at a coward. I could introduce shame at this point, but I think everyone gets the picture. That is one thing about the fiasco happening in the USA, everyone gets to see short sighted, selfish,larcenous, egotistical politicians in action. And yes, the majority can be seen as evil. But the common folk allowed them to be there, for generations. All these people, and the policies they have endorsed, are a symptom, a symptom that has grown over generations. Nobody wants to admit it, but a government put in place by a society, reflects the society. In the past maybe a monarchy could rot over time, but a representative government is like a diaper; it’s supposed to get changed regularly (and you shouldn’t put a shitty diaper on a clean baby).

Let us start with “the head” when examining a typical citizen. Let’s explore some cause and effects in our education system. I could talk about a ninth grade class being taught how evil Christopher Columbus was, while a Che Guevara poster hangs in the classroom; but let’s look further upstream. How about the University professor who taught the future teacher how “enlightened”, and cool, marxism is; all while sneering at “hypocritical western values”? But how did such a professor get a job teaching at a university? Is this the fault of the universities alone? This is a free country is it not? Where should the controls be put in place? Maybe the problem lies with the parents, who spent big dollars on their kids education, caring more about the prestigiousness of the university, rather than what the university was actually teaching. We can see that it is definitely possible to purge universities of “wrongthink”, the progressives have done a fine job of driving all conservative thought out of every institution. Bottom line? The citizens didn’t care enough about guarding something as vague as “western values”, besides, the daily news made us a little ashamed about the “racism” and “rampant poverty” in our society. I could go on and on, tying together all the ways we were conquered. The head must be healed, before any white hats, busting down a door, will make much of a difference. Stay with me, let’s dig even deeper.

The heart. Now we are in deep water. This is a harder one to define, but you need to try. Is it the soul of a man? Some think so. Is it an amalgamation of your past, plus your plans for the future? What you believe? Who you are? This is a tough one, a question that everyone must wrestle over. Think of your heart as the spring from which all your emotions and desires flow, the source of your will. There is no way to look at the heart of a man without seeing it as a spiritual organ. God looks at the heart as the main control centre for our behaviour, our moral centre, and warns about its tendency toward evil (there is that word again). This is contrary to what “modern” experts have taught (and you know where they have led us). “Contemporary” teaching is that the heart is formed through “coercion”, or “victimization”; a malleable thing that is “not our fault”. Maybe it’s time to back up and find an “old path” out of the swamp, because the heart must be fixed before the head. Maybe we need to revisit some old teachings about morality and spirituality, the teachings that formed our society, instead of the contemporary drivel that is tearing us apart.

I do not hold ill will for those who “hunger and thirst for righteousness”, Jesus certainly didn’t. I understand how much the everyday working man would love to see the “bad guys” get a reckoning for all their devious machinations. There is no doubt that if some white hatted paladins hauled out the human trash that has collected in the higher institutions, it would buy our society some time. But if “heroes” did storm the castle, how long before evil crept in and took it over again? Also, what would stop such a “virtuous” crew from simply switching hats, from white to black, once in control? This is what gives me pause before I put much hope in such a theory. If the common man sits on his couch, munching chips, and watching it all go down like a movie, I don’t trust the ending; sorry.

I wish I had a different view, and I want to give something practical in place of (possibly) false hopes. You wanna make a difference? STOP TRUSTING IN “EXPERTS”, ya gotta vet everything now. STOP BEING SO COMPLIANT, become a pain-in-the-ass to every two bit bureaucrat who wants to shove a “plan” down your throat. Be reasonable with reasonable rules in a society, but push back HARD against “modern” stupidity. GET SMARTER about the issues, learn as much as you can. FIND OTHERS who think like you, and guard their back. Anyone who is facilitating the madness needs to be ridiculed, mocked, shunned, etc. (make it as unpleasant as possible to be a “soldier” of progressivism). Don’t be an ass to the “simply ignorant”, try and recruit others to the “normal” side. FORGET ABOUT THE WHITE HATS, don’t expect others to wear them, and don’t don one yourself. Look how “storming the people’s house” ended up on Jan 6/ 2021, a bunch of people wandering around an empty building.

Lastly, but more importantly, time to look at your own head; and heart. Do you understand the concepts of freedom? Do you know the history of it? Or is it just some platitudes you heard in a patriotic song? What is the condition of your heart? Are you ready to do the hard things? For the right reasons? Do you understand your own morality? Do you see yourself deserving of the dignity that comes with being made in the image of God? Or at the penultimate moment, will you doubt your status as a citizen of a free country? Lot’s of questions to answer. I love a line I read somewhere, I think it was a Texas ranger who said it; “there’s no stoppin’ a man who knows he’s right and keeps a-comin’’, moral certainty has been bleached out of the citizens of western civilization

One more thing, maybe it’s time to come clean with your creator, nothing like coming before God and baring your soul. When one does that, and you’re honest with Him, He will show you a heart X-ray; and accept you regardless, that’s a promise He made, and kept, at the cross. The money in the United States of America is emblazoned with the caption, “in God we trust”, maybe it’s time to, not just mouth those words, but live them.
